# Duo Cone

> Duo Cone is a German manufacturer of mechanical face seals (also called floating seals, duo cone seals, heavy-duty seals or lifetime seals) in DF and DO type. The seals are used in track rollers, idlers, final drives, axles and gearboxes of mining, construction, agricultural, forestry, recycling and defense machinery. Quotes are sent within 24 hours and stocked seals ship from Germany within 24 hours.

- DO type: each steel seal ring sits on a toric O-ring; the most common design on crawler machines, axles and final drives.
- DF type: each steel seal ring is held by a single rubber loading ring; common on older tractors and loaders, with a quick press-in fit.
- Parts are listed by OEM part number, so a Caterpillar, Komatsu, Liebherr or John Deere reference can be matched to a Duo Cone seal.
- Company: SAPPARTS Europe GmbH, Benzstraße 21, 51381 Leverkusen, Germany. Quality management to DIN EN ISO 9001:2015.
